Ames Hosts Area-Wide Sing July 9

On Saturday, July 9, 2016, the Westside Church of Christ hosted an area-wide sing. We had Christians from the Eagleville Church of Christ in Eagleville, MO as well as from the West Liberty Church of Christ in Montezuma, IA. The event was a time of request singing, fellowship, and sharing.

As Danny opened up the event, he reminded us that singing is a way of encouraging each other. Ephesians 5:18-19 says it this way, "18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord."
